Rebecca Kenaga

Co-founder, Executive Director

Rebecca graduated cum laude from James Madison University with the Class of 2020. She holds a Bachelor’s of Music, concentrated in instrumental music education, with minor studies in Music and Human Services and Jazz. She currently serves as James Madison University’s Art Entrepreneur in Residence in the Gilliam Center for Entrepreneurship, where she further develops Amplify Music and is a mentor for arts students beginning their own ventures. Dedicated to supporting community music, she also assists in directing the East Rockingham Marching Eagles, teaches private lessons, and co-leads a music enrichment class for the Arc of Harrisonburg And Rockingham.

 

Sophie Harrison

Co-founder

Sophie Harrison graduated from James Madison University with her Bachelor’s of Music concentrated in instrumental music education with a minor in Jazz. She currently works as the general music teacher at Skipwith Elementary in Henrico County where she is dedicated to facilitating meaningful music experiences and helping students grow as musicians that can thrive in a variety of environments. She enjoys teaching private lessons, working with marching band programs, and believes in the idea that everyone deserves to be given outlets of expression to live the most fulfilling life.
